Here’s a little about me:
- I live in Albert Lea, Minnesota.
- I love to train for and run road races, mostly 10k’s and half marathons.
- I also love to play disc golf.
- I’m currently reading “Boards that Make a Difference” by John Carver, and I was recently elected to the ISD #241 School Board (Albert Lea Area Schools).
- I attended Luther College and majored in English and religion, wrote for and edited the newspaper, worked for the college radio station, acted in a couple plays, ran cross country and track, and took cello lessons.
- The year before I graduated from Luther, I hitchhiked from Minnesota to Seattle.
- I play the guitar, cello and mandolin…and also a little harmonica and piano.
- I’m also a singer/songwriter and recorded a CD in 2004 called Swords into Plowshares.
- I’m married to Jennifer Vogt-Erickson and we have a little boy whose name is Axel.
